Looks like it is bound to happen. The Generatus website helps you to generate a creative one-liner online status message that you can use on your networking sites. Tagged “Ideal for the imaginatively challenged” the site generates some witty/funny/original? message after you enter your name, gender and tag filter.

Good for a laugh or two.

According to Wikipedia, white noise is a random signal (or process) with a flat power spectral density. Basically it’s what you hear when the tv has is not receiving any transmission or the empty static noise between the radio station frequencies.

The folks at SimplyNoise came out with the idea of providing these white noises in a continuous from, which is supposedly to aid in sleeping, soothes migraines, enhance concentration and mask tinnitus (ringing in the ears), among others. Some other functional uses incluses drowning out irritating noises around you (like noisy neighbors) or if you just needed some noise in the background while working without being distracted by music or words.

At the site, you can adjust the volume of the noises according to your level of comfort (I found Level 6 is soothing), categorized in white, pink and brown noises.

You can even download the noise files either in .wma format (Windows Media Player format) or .mp4 format (for use on Ipod). The site also offers a thunderstorm background noise if you like the sound of a distant thunderstorm. 

I was listening to the white noise while writing this post and somehow, to my supris,  I do find it easier to focus on what I am thinking. Do check it out and let me know if it works for you too.

I found this Coke Zero : Trust Your Buds advertisement to be quite weird and funny at the same time. The Coke Zero flavor was launched back in 2005 in US and this ad was part of the worldwide campaign to promote Coke Zero.

The ad introduced some body anatomy parts with hilarious characters of their own; the French-speaking “eyeball”, the British “tongue” duo, the bum “finger” (pull me!) and the Mexican “Brain”.

Did you know Twitter site allows users to add special characters and unicode symbols to the tweet messages? These special characters are usually accessible through the built in Character Map application in Windows, but it is too much hassle to open up the application through the windows start button.

The folks at the Next Web has come up with an applet called TwitterKeys which groups these symbols together in a mini window that you can copy and paste from. All you need to do is just drag the link provided to your browser toolbar and click on it to start using.

I think this is an excellent tool as this saves a lot of characters being used if you have a long tweet message.

“I’m going to ? to ? in the morning after I make a ? to make sure my ? is ? with it. ? for now and don’t forget to ? and lets have ? soon!”
